Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Add the onion, garlic, and carrot; cook until the vegetables are soft.
  3. Stir in flour until combined, then add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce along with salt, pepper, and thyme. Simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Place one pie crust in a pie plate; pour in the cooled filling. Cover with the second crust, crimp edges, and cut slits for steam vents. Brush with beaten egg.
