  • 2 1/2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup milk (any type will do)
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted for topping
  • 1 cup sugar for topping
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons cinnamon for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a donut pan.
  2. In one bowl, whisk together the flour, light brown sugar, salt, baking powder, and pumpkin spice.
  3. In another bowl, mix the pumpkin puree, melted butter, and milk until smooth.
  4. Combine the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and gently fold until just combined.
  5. Fill each cavity of the donut pan about three-quarters full with batter.
  6. Bake for approximately 12 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. While baking, prepare the cinnamon sugar topping by mixing sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
