  • 2 tablespoons gingerbread syrup
  • ¼ cup milk
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • Optional garnish: gingerbread man cookie

Instructions

  1. Prepare the gingerbread syrup by boiling water, sugar, molasses, ground ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a saucepan until the sugar dissolves. Let it cool before transferring to an airtight container.
  2. Use a handheld milk frother to whisk together 1 tablespoon of gingerbread syrup with heavy cream until it thickens slightly.
  3. Heat ¼ cup of milk in a saucepan or microwave until simmering. Froth the milk using a French press or electric frother.
  4. In a mug, mix strong coffee with 2 tablespoons of gingerbread syrup. Pour in the frothed milk and top with the gingerbread cream. Optionally garnish with ground cinnamon and a gingerbread cookie.
