  • 2 cups fresh peaches, diced
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/3 cup finely diced peaches

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together granulated sugar, whole milk, vegetable oil, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, combine all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Whisk until mixed.
  4. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined; some lumps are fine.
  5. Carefully fold in diced peaches.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for about 55-60 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  8. For the glaze, mix powdered sugar, melted butter, finely diced peaches, and vanilla until smooth; add heavy cream if needed for consistency.
  9. Spread the glaze over cooled bread before slicing.
