  • 1 box favorite cake mix
  • 1 3.4 oz box instant pudding mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup frosting
  • Candy Melts (various colors)
  • Toppings (sprinkles, candy eyes)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and spray a 13 x 9 inch baking pan with vegetable spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, water, and oil. Beat for about 2 minutes until smooth. Pour into the prepared pan.
  3. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from the pan.
  4. Crumble the cooled cake into a large bowl and mix in the frosting until well combined.
  5. Form small balls from the mixture and chill for at least 2 hours.
  6. Melt Candy Melts in intervals of 30 seconds until smooth.
  7. Dip sticks into melted Candy Melts before inserting into each cake ball. Chill again briefly if needed.
  8. Dip each pop into melted Candy Melts, then decorate while still wet.
