  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp chili powder (optional, for heat)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • ⅓ cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 8 small flour or corn tortillas
  • ½ cup shredded lettuce
  • ½ cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Monterey Jack)
  • ¼ cup diced red onion
  • ¼ cup chopped cilantro
  • Lime wedges, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season chicken with olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and chili powder in a mixing bowl.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until fully cooked. Let it rest before slicing.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Stir in honey and BBQ sauce; simmer for 2 minutes.
  4. Slice or shred the chicken and combine it with the sauce until well coated.
  5. Assemble tacos with tortillas filled with chicken mixture and desired toppings.
