  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup hot coffee
  • 6 ounces chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1½ cups unsalted butter
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 6 cups powdered sugar
  • ⅔ cup milk
  • 26 Oreo cookies, crushed into crumbs
  • 10 ounces pectin-based gummy candies

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and spray a 9×13 baking pan with baking spray.
  2. In a stand mixer, combine sugar, flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Gradually mix into dry ingredients.
  4. Carefully fold in hot coffee until combined; pour batter into the pan.
  5. Bake for 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean; cool completely.
  6. Prepare chocolate pudding by whisking together the pudding mix and milk until smooth; spread over the cooled cake.
  7. For frosting, melt butter and whisk in cocoa; mix in powdered sugar alternating with milk until smooth.
  8. Spread frosting over the pudding layer and top with crushed Oreo cookies and gummies.
