  • 300g chicken breast
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup sliced carrots
  • 1 cup sliced green bell pepper
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce (for sauce)
  • ½ cup chicken stock
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • Salt & pepper
  • 1 cup cooked white rice
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken strips with soy sauce, cornstarch, and sesame oil for 10 minutes.
  2. Mix soy sauce, mushroom sauce, rice vinegar, honey, and chicken stock in a bowl to make the sauce.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a wok; stir-fry marinated chicken until lightly browned.
  4. Add minced garlic and vegetables; stir-fry until tender-crisp.
  5. Return chicken to the wok; pour in the sauce and stir until everything is heated through.
  6. Serve over cooked rice garnished with fresh cilantro.
