  • 2 tablespoons avocado oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ancho chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 16 corn tortillas
  • cooking spray
  • 2 cups green cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups purple cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 2 avocados
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons red apple vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Fish: Mix avocado oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, cumin, sea salt, ancho chili powder, and black pepper. Brush over cod filets.
  2. Cook the Fish: Heat a skillet over medium heat, add cooking spray, and cook fish for 3-5 minutes per side until golden brown.
  3. Make Cilantro Lime Slaw: Combine green and purple cabbage with lime juice, chopped cilantro, honey, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Prepare Avocado Crema: Mash avocados; mix in garlic, cilantro, cumin, red pepper flakes, lime juice, apple cider vinegar, olive oil, and salt until creamy.
  5. Assemble Tacos: Warm corn tortillas; fill each with cod and top with slaw and Avocado Crema.
